Description
Sika Plastiment-230 P is a versatile and economical concrete plasticiser with a wide dosage range. It improves concrete workability without increasing water demand or allows water reduction without loss of workability, supporting higher strength and improved surface finish. It is suitable for tropical and hot climatic conditions.

Application guidance
Add Sika Plastiment-230 P to the gauging water before the gauging water is introduced into the dry concrete mix. Allow sufficient mixing time to ensure that the admixture is thoroughly distributed throughout the concrete. Do not add Sika Plastiment-230 P directly to dry cement. The optimum dosage depends on the concrete mix design, constituent materials and required performance. Trial mixes should be carried out to establish the appropriate dosage before full-scale production.

Recommended dosage: 0–3% by weight of cement. The optimum dosage should be established through trial mixes for the specific concrete mix and required performance.
