Application guidance
Ensure the substrate is sound, clean and free from oil, grease, old coatings, surface treatments and loose material. Prepare concrete, mortar and stone mechanically or by suitable high-pressure water jetting to provide a sound bonding surface. Remove dust from cracks and prepared areas. Measure equal volumes of Components A and B into a clean mixing container. Mix thoroughly for at least 3 minutes using a spatula or slow-speed mixer at 400–600 rpm until a uniform colour is achieved. Use the mixed material immediately. Do not thin with solvents. Protect freshly applied Sikadur AP from damp, condensation and water for at least 12 hours.
Coverage
Consumption depends on the bonding, patching or filling application and the required application thickness.
