Description
Sika MultiSeal Tape is a self-adhesive sealing tape made from modified bitumen and laminated with an aluminium film on the upper side. It provides a simple and durable solution for repairing, protecting and sealing roofs, façades, gutters and other building elements exposed to weather.
Applications
- Suitable for repairing, protecting and sealing roofs including sheet-metal work, façades, broken roof tiles, leaking roof gutters, chimneys, roof lights and various types of ductwork.
Benefits
- Self-adhesive and easy to apply, with good adhesion to many substrates. It is weather-proof, UV-resistant, bitumen-resistant and can be over-painted. It can also be applied at low temperatures when the specified application procedure is followed.
Application guidance
Apply to a stable, clean and dry substrate free from dirt, oil, grease, loose material, old sealants and poorly bonded coatings. Remove the release film and firmly press the tape onto the prepared substrate, ensuring full contact and avoiding trapped air. At temperatures below +15°C, warm both the tape and substrate during application as specified in the current Sika Product Data Sheet.
