Product details & technical information
Description
Sikalastic-510 BH is a cold-applied, one-component water-based acrylic waterproofing membrane. It forms a seamless, fully bonded and highly elastic waterproofing layer with strong resistance to UV exposure and weathering, making it particularly suitable for exposed roof applications in hot climates.
Applications
- Waterproofing of exposed roofs in new construction and refurbishment projects, including roofs with complex detailing or limited accessibility. It can also be used beneath screeds in wet areas and for suitable exposed waterproofing applications.
Benefits
- UV and weather resistant, highly elastic and crack-bridging, ready to use, seamless and fully bonded, with good adhesion to properly prepared substrates. Suitable for exposed applications and complex roof detailing.
Application guidance
Apply to a clean, sound and properly prepared substrate. Prime where required and treat cracks, joints, penetrations and other critical details before waterproofing the main surface. Apply Sikalastic-510 BH in the required number of coats and at the specified consumption, allowing sufficient drying between coats. Follow the current Sika Product Data Sheet for the complete system build-up and application requirements.
Coverage
Minimum total consumption: approx. 1.0 kg/m², depending on the specified system.
