Description
Sikalite is a powdered waterproofing admixture for cement-sand mortars. It helps block capillaries and pores within the mortar, reducing water penetration while allowing the treated mortar to remain vapour permeable.
Applications
- Waterproofing of cement-sand renders and mortars used on walls, façades, floor toppings and jointing mortars. Particularly suitable for damp-proofing applications and moisture-affected walls.
Benefits
- Easy to use, economical and supplied in powdered form. Helps produce watertight but vapour-permeable mortar and is chloride-free.
Application guidance
Add Sikalite to the mortar mix in accordance with the current Sika Product Data Sheet. Use with properly proportioned cement-sand mortar and follow the specified mixing, application and curing requirements.
