Description
SikaShield P24 MG 3 mm - Grey is an APP-modified bituminous waterproofing membrane with a thickness of 3 mm. It is reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric and has a grey mineral-granule upper surface for exposed applications. The underside has a polyethylene burn-off film for torch application.
Applications
- Used for waterproofing balconies, terraces and flat or sloping roofs. The mineral-finished membrane can be used as an exposed cap sheet in a multi-layer waterproofing system.

Application guidance
Apply to a uniform, firm, smooth, clean and dry substrate free from grease, laitance, oil, dust, loose particles and sharp protrusions. Unroll and align the membrane before re-rolling for installation. Torch the substrate and underside of the membrane until the backing film begins to melt, then roll the heated membrane forward and press firmly to achieve full bonding. Provide minimum side overlaps of 100 mm and end overlaps of 150 mm, ensuring a continuous bead of melted bitumen is visible along the welded overlaps.
Coverage
Nominal roll area: 10 m². Actual installed coverage is lower after allowing for minimum 100 mm side overlaps, 150 mm end overlaps and site wastage.
