Description
Sika Cemflex Membrane is a non-woven reinforcing membrane designed for use with the Sika Cemflex waterproofing system. The membrane is saturated with Sika Cemflex waterproofing slurry and embedded into the system to provide continuous reinforcement across the waterproofed surface.
Applications
- Used as reinforcement with Sika Cemflex waterproofing slurry for reservoirs, shower floors and walls, balcony and veranda floors beneath tiles, retaining walls and other compatible Cemflex waterproofing applications.

- Provides continuous reinforcement within the Sika Cemflex waterproofing system and allows the waterproofing slurry to form a reinforced waterproofing layer across the treated surface.
Application guidance
Pre-cut the membrane into manageable sizes. Apply Sika Cemflex waterproofing slurry to the prepared and dampened substrate, then fully soak the membrane in the slurry. Remove the saturated membrane and smooth it onto the primed surface, eliminating trapped air bubbles. Overlap adjacent membrane sections by a minimum of 50 mm. Once the area is fully covered, apply a generous coat of Cemflex slurry and allow it to dry before applying the final coat.
Coverage
Approx. 1 m² per linear metre, before allowing for minimum 50 mm overlaps and site wastage.
